Ted, 1 Year Later

Some of you no doubt remember a homeless man named Ted Williams. His golden voice was discovered by a man from the Columbus Dispatch and became a national story. When Entertainment Tonight caught up with him one, they found Ted doing great. While he used to live on the street and smoke crack, he is now gainfully employed, has a steady girlfriend and a roof over his head. He’s also been gifted a free membership to a prestigious voiceover lab in Los Angeles to continue developing his career.

He’s even co-authored a book, which will hit the shelves in May 2012 called A Golden Voice: Ted Williams: How Faith, Hard Work, and Humility Brought Me from the Streets to Salvation.

I wonder how many Teds are out there.
