Last week was one of those weeks where distractions were abundant and multiplied like jackrabbits by the hour. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t focus on a couple of key things I needed to do. I had some insomnia and that played a role–but come on, focus man!
I’ve struggled over the years to find new ways to be productive. I’ve always had a sense I could be working smarter, and thus have more time and mental bandwidth left over for things that matter. Perhaps that’s where you are. Or, maybe you feel a bit sluggish these days
Every church can learn a lot about the way it does ministry by doing this simple exercise: Take your church calendar and ask, “If someone or a family of four participated in everything our church offers, what would their day planner look like, and how much would it cost financially?”
