Pepperdine Lectures

This week, I’ll be blogcasting from the Pepperdine Bible Lectures. Pepperdine is the spiritual highlight of my year from an event standpoint. I get to see my parents, hang out at my alma mater, and get to hear some of the best preaching you can hear anywhere. This year, I’m not keynoting or giving a theme lecture, but I’m doing two classes.

The first is on Communion, entitled, "Remember." It’ll be at 8:30 every day. Warning…shameless plug!

Oops…here’s another one… I and some of the HOCC worship creative team will be presenting on Thursday and Friday at 2 in the chapel. The title is… "Sunday Mornings at the Creative Church of Christ." The title was given to us by the great Jerry Rushford…we really don’t think we’re that creative. But, we’re going to try to help churches think a bit outside of the box with regards to Sundays…walking them through what we do to try to make Sundays (and other days) as impactful as possible.

If you are going to be out there…come on by either class… I’d love to see you.
