Gray Saturdays

Sleep
Today is a gray Saturday. What to do… what to do. The kids are asleep, and I feel kind of sleepy. I know… I’m gonna sleep. That’s nice…

Sleep is the second wonder of the world (after Jesus Christ). Can you think of the best nap you ever had? And doesn’t even thinking about it make you tired?

A sought after speaker for events, Tim also serves as Adjunct Professor of Religion at Pepperdine University. 1. To Linda… thanks so much for the encouragement…it means a lot…
    To Kathryn… a seven-fold Amen.
To Tim… hurry back, brother, we miss you, and the last couple of Sundays have charged my batteries…

  2. I’ve had to miss the last two Sundays due to my mom being very ill in the hospital. Missing such a battery boost is not healthy for someone who craves corporate worship like I do.
Speaking of naps, the stress of the last 9 days was exemplified by the nap I took Saturday afternoon. Coming on the heels of a good 8-hr. sleep Friday night, you’d think it wouldn’t be needed. But I got a “free” afternoon and the body yelled “sleep!” Two and a half hours later, I woke up refreshed.
    A top-ten nap.

  3. Tim, The message you gave today was one of the best I’ve heard out of many. After church today Chris said you were talking to him.
My sister likes visiting my church she love the Preaching,Singing, and the People. I fill proud to have family and friend come visit my church because the sprit of GOD is at HOOCC. That was one of many reason Chris and I placed our membership there. Keep up GOD’s work.
