Here are some things on my mind this Friday morning:
•I turned 38 this week. Emily gave me a great birthday, and I was so thankful for the encouragement I received from my friends.
•It wasn’t too long into my birthday celebration I pulled a that muscle leading from the thumb to the wrist on a warm-up swing on the golf course. I. Got. Hurt. On. A. Warm-up. Swing.
•I know that by certain standards I’m still a “youngish” man, but my genogram suggests 38 is 2nd base. It makes one think about the first half and evaluate one’s course for the second.
•One of the hardest things to say to someone is, “no.” However, it’s also one of the most important things to say, when needed.
•One of the best indicators of whether our heart is synced closely to the Father’s is whether or not we celebrate what He celebrates.
